Memopal uses the cloud to protect your data, provide easy access to your data, and let you share data with others. This is an application that will automatically back up the data you specify to the internet, that allows you to access all the data you uploaded from any device connected to the internet, and share data with others over the web.

Memopal is available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and iPad, Android, BlackBerry. Focusing on Microsoft’s operating system, to get Memopal up and running on a Windows PC you must download a 9.2MB executable, run it, and then follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard – it’s a standard setup procedure, really. When you launch the application you will be asked to log in or create a new account. You can very easily create a new account and activate 3GB of online storage space for free.

The Memopal Control Panel displays three tabs in the upper right hand corner: My Account (a bit of info on your account), Settings (choose what you want to back up to the web, access a few advanced options), Dashboard (presents info about ongoing backup tasks, how much space you’re using, and more). You can bring up the Control Panel by clicking the Memopal icon in the system tray or by right clicking the icon and selecting the Control Panel option.

Speaking about right clicking, it must be mentioned that Memopal integrates with the right click context menu. Right click a file or a folder and you will be able to add it to the backup task, upload it, or share it with others.

There are three things you can do with Memopal:

Back up your data – the application will back up the data you specify to your online account. By default, the backup task is performed automatically. If you want to, you can switch to a daily or a weekly backup behavior.

Upload data – you can upload any data you want to your online account. You can then access that data from any device that’s connected to the web. If you’re at a friend’s house for example, use his PC to log into your account and access your data.

Share files – you can share uploaded data with others by simply giving them the link to it. And speaking about others, you can earn more storage space by inviting others to use Memopal. As mentioned above, you can get started with 3GB for free and work your way up from there.

Memopal provides an efficient and very user friendly means of backing up, uploading, and sharing data with others.

Pros

Memopal is available for multiple platforms; installing it on a Windows PC is a simple matter. The Memopal Control Panel is very easy to use. You can use Memopal to back up data to the cloud, upload data to the cloud, and share data with others. You can get started with 3GB of storage space for free. You can invite others to earn more storage space. Memopal integrates with the right click context menu. Memopal provides support for multiple languages.

Cons

None that I could think of.
